At TWoA, we are proud to be the ONLY teen magazine about news, trends, and personalities in the arts.
Since our very first article, we’ve been dedicated to guiding you into the vibrant world of the performing and visual arts. Whether you're all about the thrill of creating art, curious about how your favorite performers got their start, or just want to dive into the arts world in a fun, relatable way, TWoA is here to inspire you.
But you may ask, How did we get here?
The short answer - it all started with a question: “Wouldn’t it be great if there was a magazine for teens, but about the performing arts?”
It sounds simpler than it is, doesn’t it?

You see, the long answer is…
It was a cloudy morning in March 2022. My daughter Lina called me to her room to perform a new violin etude she was working on. So I put down my tea, along with the newspaper, and headed to her room. With my arms crossed, I leaned against the doorframe and waited.
Lina started, but after a few bars, she lowered her bow, looked straight at me and asked: “Mom, wouldn’t it be great if there was a magazine for teens, but about the performing arts?”
She wanted an artsy alternative to Teen Vogue.
“Yes, Lina, that would be great,” I sighed, “now can I get back to my breakfast?”
But Lina had latched onto the idea, determined to make it work.

None of her friends, she reasoned, could find articles about the visual and performing arts that…
Catered to a diverse audience of curious Gen Zs;
Explored all the arts, be it music, dance, painting, or sculpture;
Spoke with accessible, digestible language;
Provided actual value rather than just fluff;
Posed first-hand accounts of cultural events and exclusive interviews with top artists;
Gifted readers an artistic lexicon with which they could discuss the arts to impress;
Connected the artistic canon with contemporary events and movements;
Shed behind-the-scenes content of the art scenes from various capitals worldwide; and
Offered some respite from the tedium of academic papers!
Instead, they were all either too academic or too simple. What had happened to the golden mean?
Flawless reasoning, what could I say! It’s been guiding our content since the very start…
That is how Lina’s moment of inspiration turned into a joint mission: to establish Teen World of Arts (TWoA), an online magazine for those passionate about the arts and curious about the world.
As for our values? Our goals? We’re glad you asked.
We prize curiosity, talent, authenticity, and artistry above all else.
We aim to inspire and entertain all those passionate about the arts. Our goal is to build a welcoming community where creative individuals from diverse backgrounds feel a sense of belonging. TWoA is your ultimate hub for all things culture—a space to connect, learn, and thrive.
So whether you’re looking to learn about classical music, dance, and the visual arts or to simply relax with fun content after a long day of practice and rehearsals… TWoA is the place for you.
