A new year has begun, and there is no better way to start the new year than with some pigs! In case you are wondering why we are wishing you pigs for the new year: it’s not just because, since the Middle Ages, pigs have been a symbol of prosperity and good luck in many countries around the world. It’s also because we are German, and marzipan pigs are one of the German New Year’s traditions we can’t do without! They symbolise good luck. So – wishing you a happy New Year, with pigs, fun, and success!
