Winter Fashion

It’s almost December! It’s almost the most magical time of the year! Fires are flickering and making beautiful shadows on walls, holiday decorations are starting to appear in shop windows, houses and restaurants, and the smell of freshly baked cookies is drifting across the streets of the neighbourhood! And so, we need to match ourselves to this season, with winter fashion!

As you may know from my previous article about fall fashion, this year we are all about oversized jackets and coats! We will not just talk about daily fashion, but also about holiday fashion and fancy outfits for parties, concerts and performances!

Must-Have Wardrobe for the Season

Who am I to recommend those items? Well, it sure isn’t me. But I do have some ideas for you to add to your holiday wish list, or a list of ideas for a shopping spree or a wardrobe exchange!

Jacket

Chic and confident you are walking around with your new leather (or fake leather) jacket. It’s a vision! And guess what? It’s in! Fashion influencers around the world are wearing it! Top fashion magazines are promoting it! (And so are we!) You can style it in so many ways, over a dress, giving it a little bit of an edge, with a simple t-shirt and in many other ways!

Puffer Jackets

Comfy, oversize, I mean… that’s good news! On runways around the world, big fashion brands are wearing it.

 Party Wear/ Fancy Wear

You are invited to a seasonal party, or there is a holiday coming up and you do not know what to wear! Your closet has been gone through thoroughly multiple times, and your fashion sense in not finding something with potential! Here are some ideas:

Dress (floor length)/mini dress dress/ button-up dress: you can pair it with boots and a leather jacket to give it an edge, or with girly ballerina flats or with fun high heels! You can also wear jeans and a fancy blouse with ballerina flats and a handbag!

 Jewellery

The importance of accessories in an outfit is huge!  You could even wear a simple shirt and a skirt and add big earrings and a sassy purse, and voilà, you are done! The whole outfit is transformed! (But I do recommend dressing up. . .). Or: add a ring - it’s cute, it’s a nice touch!

Exchange Outfits

Remember, you don’t have to buy anything new. Some of these items may exist in your friends’, siblings’, or parents’ closets (I myself am guilty of stealing/borrowing my mom’s clothes).

We will meet again in two weeks, discussing everything Christmas! So, stay tuned, and subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you don’t miss any of our new articles!
